At our Relay I have brought a lot of attention to childhood cancers- I always have a parent of a SURVIVOR speak.- And best of all, my daughter received a 4 year scholarship from the ACS! I totally support them!- Sure wish I would have known about the rides during treatment....once my car died and we had to rent one just to get to treatment...I know better now :)Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06295499795085860012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3825864696950613260.post-6499573051542857802009-01-26T02:47:00.000-08:002009-01-26T02:47:00.000-08:00Keep up the great work!!Keep up the great work!!paulmerrillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03555284589007691780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3825864696950613260.post-58803715035565085782009-01-20T14:02:00.000-08:002009-01-20T14:02:00.000-08:00I am a friend of Marey's and hopped over after see...I am a friend of Marey's and hopped over after seeing your comments on her blog.

My daughter, Marielle, was diagnosed at age 3 with leukemia. She also underwent 2.5 years of chemotherapy and now is a healthy 6 year old first grader.

We have participated in Relay for Life for 3 years now. Often people do a double take that a 6 year old can be a cancer survivor. Thank God she is a survivor.

Please continue your good work with Relay for Life!
